Who is Branch?

Branch touches all aspects of the built environment. From the ground up, Branch is a full-service commercial construction solutions partner. We provide design-build, heavy/highway construction, building development, construction management, structures, general contracting services, specialty metal fabrication, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

Branch is headquartered in Roanoke Virginia. We serve clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States.

Branch has total revenues of nearly $700 million and workforce of over 1,200 employee-owners. Through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), Branch ensures that every employee-owner has a vested interest in our success.

CIVIL & INFRASTRUCTURE

Our civil division focuses on building the best roads and highways in the Mid-Atlantic, and consistently wins awards for excellence, safety, and providing and unique and ingenious solutions to large-scale problems. With additional experience in large and small-scale site development and utilities, airports, ports, and structures, we have an impressive and well-rounded portfolio to fit any client’s civil and infrastructure needs.

BUILDING

Building the structures that keep our society growing in addition to moving, is vital to everyone’s future, which is why we take our focus on building the best schools, higher education, and health care facilities seriously. Veterans of building almost everything in the commercial, municipal, and educational spheres help us guide clients through the different forms of construction management and alternative deliveries and funding.

MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL,
AND PLUMBING (MEP)

To keep these buildings comfortable and service them for years to come, Branch’s MEP division is more than just a contractor. This team offers full MEP engineering design and BIM coordination (within our own services and to other firms), a metal fabrication shop, 3D laser scanning, and the best installation, service, and controls teams in the Mid-Atlantic. Why does this matter? Our engineers and master tradespeople know constructability and can mitigate and solve problems before they start. Collaboration and saving clients time and money is a keystone to our success and repeat clients.

Since 1963, Branch has been dedicated to being one of the best contractors in the Mid-Atlantic. With a collective history of over 100 years, we are one of the only employee-owned companies to offer construction solutions for multiple markets and construction deliveries.
