Branch held their inaugural Branch Gives Classic Golf Tournament, benefiting Habitat for Humanity on June 4 & 5, 2023 at Ballyhack Golf Club (Roanoke, Virginia). The support of corporate sponsors American Global, Ascendum Machinery, and Carter Machinery, as well as countless community partners, volunteers, donors, and advocates, raised $42,357 to benefit the organization.
During the tournament closing ceremony, Branch presented the check to Karen Mason, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley to support their mission to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. The donation will benefit Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley as well as Habitat in the five regions where Branch offices are located.
Mason shared that the donation will be applied to complete the renovation of a vacant home constructed in 1900, located in SE, Roanoke, Virginia. The renovated four-bedroom, two-bath home will provide safe and affordable homeownership for a local family. Branch employee-owners are scheduled to volunteer in the home in July, August, and September.
Branch supports 501(c)3, human services organizations in all the markets they live and work, with Habitat being their primary charity. “It’s a special privilege to support events that align so closely with our own values of community engagement, building relationships, and making a positive impact. This event goes beyond the sport—it’s about gathering with purpose and building stronger, more resilient communities. We are building from the ground up.” Said Branch, CEO, Donald Graul.
