VMI Science Building Renovation

Branch was selected to provide preconstruction and construction services for this highly complex, multi-phased renovation project that had to remain in service during construction. The renovations were required to support a change in the core curriculum and an increase in the size of the Corps of Cadets. The Science Building primarily consists of laboratories, classrooms, faculty offices, a library, VMI’s Undergraduate Research Initiative (URI) department and storage spaces for the biology and chemistry departments. Our professionals were tasked with strategically guiding the project in conjunction with on-going academic activities to ensure minimal disruption throughout the 2012/2013 academic year.
